Educational and professional experience

 

Joined UK sport in March 2003 and managed the production of the organisation's Equality and Diversity Strategy /2003-2006). Is the lead person for the integration of equality into UK Sport policies and programmes. Prior to joining UK Sport, she was Senior Development Manager with the Women's Sport Foundation (WSF) and managed the implementationof the National Action Plan for Women and Girls' Sport and Physical Activity.

She holds currently following positions:

Sport

 

Has dedicated many years to playing, coaching and developing the game of women's rugby. The rugby career began as a new participant in 1983 and progressed as an international athlete (Wales 1987-1996, Great Britain 1987-1989), administrator (RFUW Executive Board 1988-1991) and coach (Saracens Women's Rugby Club 1998-present; Wales 1998-2000). Recently joined a select group of female coaches on the Women into High Performance Coaching Scheme.
