European Women and Sport Programmes

EWS supports programmes that encourage to women to participate, volunteer and lead in sport.  One of the ways in which we do this is through the support of EU Funded projects and policies.

ENTER!- A pan-European programme aimed at developing women leaders in 6 European Countries.

WILD- The Women's International Leadership Development programme is a joint venture by CCPR and national sports organisations from the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy and Sweden aimed at increase representation by women in leadership positions in sport and build the competence and confidence of women in decision-making positions.

Closing the Leadership Gender Gap in European Athletics- To develop practical ways to increase the number of competent women sports leaders across Europe for the benefit of athletics.

OLYMPIA- The project wants to make evident and known the barriers that deny women the access in a profession in sport, exchange best practices, common problems and information about existing legislation on the topic, realize actions of participated democracy promotion.
